Thank goodness it’s FRIDAY! and a tribute to Typography

It’s been a crazy hectic week. I’m so thankful it is friday. Not sure about anyone else’s week. I’m actually going to stop work tonight at 5. It’s shocking…i’ve been working 6am – midnight for about 6 days straight. All Graphic Design, All the time!

I’m looking at font managers right now. Today I realized that I have simultaneously managed to have too many fonts and yet not enough. I’ve tried out two so far… not overly impressed. Although I haven’t delved into them too much yet, so maybe there’s some cool features I haven’t found yet. Anyone have any good suggestions?

I haven’t yet delved into typography as far as creating my own but I’ve also been looking at Adobe Font Lab. I may have to play in illy first and see if it’s something that interests me more, but typography is fascinating!

Just a couple of noteworthy pieces I found today.. these are some not as well known artists who I thought deserved a little recognition for their work in incorporating typography into their design work.
